"Let's raise children who don't have to recover from their childhoods" Pam Leo
So how do we do this?
As adults we have been shaped by the experiences we had growing up in our family of origin and the culture that has surrounded us.
How do we give our children a childhood that nourishes their soul and encourages them to live their True Nature?
We respond to the calls WE receive from our own childhood. These calls are the feelings that arise when something we experience today taps us into past hurts.
It might be the anger that arises when our child says NO when we expect a YES!
It might be the sadness that arises when a text message isn't responded to fast enough.
It might be the frustration that arises when things are moving too fast or too slow.
We receive the invitation through the felt sense of our body. How we respond to these messages matters.
I love being able to support people to respond to these messages with love and curiosity. To see them not as wrong, but as opportunities and invitations. Life wants nothing but the best for us. Yet unhealed past hurt can cause us to feel separated from his truth.
I wonder are you willing to be supported to meet and love all of yourself?
Are you receiving messages, yet they feel too big to meet alone? I'm here. I'm listening. I'm not willing for you to do this alone anymore.
Are you feeling called to be lovingly supported?
